I need new windshield wipers and I was wondering who likes what they have and who doesnt. I currently have rainx latitudes and they work good sometimes and bad others. Sometimes they clear the windshield perfectly and others they skip all over the place. I was thinking of trying the rainx fusion but some people say rainx is crap. What do you like?
I usually just buy the cheap ones and replace them about every 8 months. One thing I learned to help prolong wiper life is Use them at leat once a week, If it is not raining use your washer fluid, it helps keep the rubber from cracking
I buy what ever is the cheapest. I have found out that even the $30 wipers are junk, so why waste my money. I just buy the $15 ones
x2
I buy 8 dollar wipers and don't bother with the passenger side one. My passenger doesn't need to see outside perfect in the rain lol. Besides, usually it's my girl sitting by me in the middle of the bench or the dog.
^^Exactly. Only the driverside one EVER acts up and skips/jumps/chatters/streaks, etc.
Tried the big dollar "best thing ever" and they were junk. Usually go with Anco, but can't always get them. End up with Azone specials. Only last 6 mos if lucky anyhow.
Like said, best to use them frequently or they get stiff and crack(streak) and are junk. Unfortunately my truck sits alot in summer due to riding bike. Then when I do need them, they don't work for crap. Most times change them fall and spring so I go into the season with good ones.
Don't know what the deal is with passenger sides?? Always smooth/quiet/prefect. Drivers side ALWAYS fails first.
