So I have just recently encountered an issue. It just so happens that it popped up the same day I had a shop install my Edge Evolution CTS2.
Got a light for airbags. Then I got the codes: U0422, P0000, P0000. I returned the truck from tow mode to stock and got rid of the U0422, but the 2 codes that are the same still are present. P0000, P0000.
Question is, has anyone else had this issue or was it just a coincidence. Or does the Edge program have a known issue with this. Also. Airbag light is still on.
P0000 are nothing to worry about. The U code was a communication problem. I have seen a P0000 on my 2015 with the CTS2 reporting it. Has been a year or so ago. Not sure if still there or not.

REPLY: I did understand the p0000 code. The U0422 code went away when I took the edge CTS2 program out. I then reinstalled the tow tune again, and once again it the U0422 code came back. It’s a communication error to body control module. Why it comes and goes with the taking the tube out and installing the tube is the question I have.
[QUOTE=Greywolf696;17706241]So I have just recently encountered an issue. It just so happens that it popped up the same day I had a shop install my Edge Evolution CTS2.

So I uninstalled the Edge CTS2 tune and the U0422 code went away. The code is a communications issue to the body control module. I then reinstalled the Tow mode Tune again, and once again I got the U0422 code back. Normally this wouldn’t concern me but at the same time I have lost the lights on my steering wheel IE: cruise, media, resume/set all that stuff and still my airbag light is on. This is what’s driving me crazy.
