Which place in Depot Bay do you stay at? My cousin has a house there and a 30 footer moored in the harbor.
We've been going to The Hallmark Resort in Newport for many years now. https://www.hallmarkinns.com/newport...-tour-newport/ (We've never done the one in Cannon Beach - too rich for our blood and they never have any specials). A friend told me about the Hallmark and the in room private hot tub spa so we gave it a try as something special for our 20th anniversary. Our anniversary is usually the only time we ever stay in a hotel. They have the storm watcher special, so it takes quite a chunk off of the rates. After this many years, its become such a tradition that neither one of us would know what to do if we didn't go there on our anniversary.
There are a few things to see like the Train in Toledo and scenery along the river, Light House, Aquarium, HMSC, Jetties, South Beach, Seal Beach, South Beach State Park, Embarcadero, boats a small museum - not that we haven't seen them a dozen times...oh yes, the Warden has got to go to the Leather Works, even after they cut the store in half and then there is Englund Marine Supply.
Nana's Irish Pub for the Tuesday night special, (Traditional Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage - satisfies the Irish half of me), Georgie’s Beachside Grill for Crab & Artichoke Fondue & their fantastic clam chowder...
Morning Andy and a happy Friday to you.
Jim we haven't stayed in Depoe Bay yet. Our last trip through Renee and I were looking around and got to talking why do drive through we take some time here.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Survived our trip to Salem today. Needed supplies at Costco and since my sisters dogs had made a play toy out of mom's hearing aids, we needed to order some spare parts for those. Stopped in Dallas on the way back for dinner at the Washington Street Steak House.

Good morning everyone. Stopping by Sportsman’s Warehouse and Lowe’s later this morning to get my rifle boresighted, get some new slippers for Jackie, and pick up lumber for a coffee bar I’m building.
