Pat, I haven't even started on the outside work before winter. Still need to take down a few trees and cut and split firewood. Haven't touched the F2 in months need to get on it and get my hay for the winter. Need more time!

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Home from the mountains. Have a bunch of errands to run today. Tried to get some done yesterday, but really only got one taken care of because of time constraints.
One of the things I need to finish up is getting an estimate for the insurance folks. Squirrels went to war with humans in the camp ground at Diamond Lake and started bombing us with fir cones from way up high in the trees. Cones made quite a racket bouncing off tree limbs on the way down and a heck of a thud when they hit the ground. One fellow ended up with dents in his F350, a Dodge with a cracked windshield, We took some hits but no damage to the pickup. The camper on the other hand took a hit to a sky light that I have to get repair estimates on.

Have a meeting at ODFW to go to on Saturday. Then on Sunday a couple of us are getting together at the club range and doing some ballistic testing on some new metal bullet traps. Once we have determined they are in fact as safe as advertised we'll open them up to the general club membership. Will take to the woods looking for a deer sometime next week after the city slickers have gone back to work. Either that or go out to our apple orchard and look for one there.
