You did all that last night after you got home? Nuts.
BTW - I passed you yesterday as you were getting onto I-405. I was waiting to turn on to 85th there by McDonalds when you drove by. I finally caught up just as you turned onto the on ramp. Decided against honking given the nuts that can inhabit that area.
Northwesterncowboy, Looks like you found problem, it I would say!
I had a really cool working location the last couple days. We rebuilt 8 splices on a telephone cable that crossed a lake. We rented a pontoon boat and I tied a couple of rollers on the side.
It happens when I had nothing to do and I love detailing every bit of my truck. Each week detailed wash, Claybar/wax/polish every 3 months, some weeks the interior getting lots of attention next week tires/wheels individually taken off and cleaned. it was an obsession at this point. It was nice if the truck got dirty during the week I would just spray it off with the hose water would bead off and rinse dirt and dust off really easy.

Wow...just WOW. Sign me up. Hopefully you have more days like that and fewer of the rain/cold days.
What lake is that? I’ve been on a few over in E-WA but they can all look the same.
Glad to hear the forum pushed an update. The last big one really made navigating unpleasant on a phone. And really any iOS device.
We are waiting to see if they broke anything. So if you find something that is not working PLEASE post it in the Forum update page. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-update-6.html
That is the last update link I think it's OK to still add things to it.
Onug, That is Jameson lake just south of Mansfield. They tell me it's a pretty good trout fishing lake. I'm just now getting back into trout fishing after a lot of years. My wife and I plan on going there this next month and see if we can do any good.

HA! Funny thing is that as I was going through Kirkland I was like "I wonder if Onug is close" - must have been on some other-dimensional vibe LOL

Interesting, is the cable underwater or above water? I'm a noob when it comes to infrastructure stuff.

As a SW developer I can personally guarantee something got broke LOL
I try to leave that hat off when I jump into social media/recreational stuff, or else I'd never ever get a break from fixing broken stuff - and I really don't like web development, like with a passion, so hats off to the devs that make these forum front and back ends.
Let's go for three posts.. I'm spamming my post count, see...
Vibration is still present, no improvement. Called Drivelines NW and they think it's just an out of balance shaft. Will take it to them tomorrow and they'll balance it for $78 or so. It really does look like someone tacked the weight on wrong when it fell off last time I was there getting quick help to unstick my slip yoke, so maybe that's it and all will be well after they balance it.... Fingers crossed!!
@NorthwesternCowboy did they paint the driveshaft last time? Hope it's fixed soon.
No, and the front desk guy asked me that same question lol. All they did was bash the slip yolk off for me and make sure the splines weren't obviously damaged. One of the weights was knocked off and tacked back on in the process, but I didn't pay for any official services. We shall see when I get the shaft dropped off and picked back up - was wanting to tow camping this weekend, but if they keep the shaft for a couple days we will likely miss out on that. Not a big deal tho.

I was going to guess one of the Soap Lakes, so I was close. Looks like a fun area. I drove thru there years ago returning from Banks Lake, but didn’t stop.

How could you not see me? Honestly man...I was either the 2nd or 3rd silver F-150 in your rear view mirror

HA! Like I ever look in my mirrors. I'm a winner, always only looking forward! bwahaha!
5pm Friday is approaching... anxiously wondering if my driveshaft will be done today or not - No camping trip for the weekend if it doesn't come home tonight. If not, oh well! Will be a weekend of doing things around the house. Damn spiders are all over the place and my grass is growing again since it's not so hot. It was nice when everything just sorta stayed the same all summer and didn't need maintaining HAHA!
