Steering Stabilizer Removal Compromise

So I've removed the steering stabilizer from my 2015 F350. However the tapered pressed in bolt is still in place. It looks like I'd be fine leaving it in place while I run the Fox ATS Stabilizer.

Has anyone else done this? Is it eventually going to get tangeled up with my ATS and break something?

Thanks

The tapered bolt is not pressed in fit. You can take a hammer and knock it out. The taper produces a tighter, closer tolerances and more secure fit than a bolt through a hole.

Just in case anyone was wondering if this worked out, I can't say. I ended getting that bolt off. A little heat and a lot of banging I got her off the truck.
