73 f250 4x4-I'm trying to find out where I can get the bolt that goes through the steering stabilizer and the rods that connect to the stabilizer. The bolt that I have has a round head on top, a hex shape in the middle, and threads on the end for a castle nut with cotter pin retainer. I believe the hex portion is somewhat of a "key" to keep everything in the corrrect spot. I went to replace the rubber bushings and noticed the bolt was worn. I can't find one anywhere. All help is appreciated.

I've never seen a carriage bolt with a hex index, usually the are square and you can pick them up from any hardware store. For the cotter pin, you'd just have to drill the hole, put the bolt in a vise and the vice under a drill press. Or they make jigs for safety wire that should work just as well.
I don't think you need to use a carriage bolt, they are handy since you only need one wrench to tighten them, but you should be able to replace it with a normal bolt.
