I have found that a lighting kit is being produced (2015-2017 Ford F-150 Cargo Bed Area LED Light Kit OEM NEW GL3Z-13E754-A) for the 150....
I cannot seem to be able to find a compatible kit for the 250.
I don't want a lot of information on how to make a kit from aftermarket parts , please.
Does anyone know of the part number (s) to make an OEM kit?
The parts Dept at my local dealer are not helpful at all....
Thanks.
Search the forum, the part numbers were listed here a few times. Its about $160 for the lights I think and $40 for the switch. However if you dont have the harness for it already in your truck I think its pretty expensive/PITA to get that in after the fact.
Those OEM lights are pretty crappy. They put out enough light to just barely see whats at the closest end of your bed.
I know you didnt want info on non OEM stuff, but you can do alot better than OEM for about $20 all said and done.
Recon has lights PN 26417FD for $120 https://www.gorecon.com/product/835/...-BED-LIGHT-KIT
Its the connectors and finding 12 V at the rear of the truck......
There is a 2 pin and 6 or 8 pin connector (forgot exact pin count) near the side of the trailer hitch bracketry...I found 12 V in the 6/8 pin...but it has a dummy plug no actual pins to connect to.
And yes, I can find all sorts of LED's ( Wish.com) for super cheap...I have lots of them in use on a boat.
