The remote start module will be zip tied somewhere under the driver's side dash. It's a black flat box. The LED will be on the main harness about 6-8 inches from the module, and the wire lead to the override button comes off the harness right next to the LED.

Installs vary greatly depending on the tech experience, so you may have to do some fishing around under there to find everything.

OK, it's now March of 2021, and I was pulling my hair out trying to get the fob working after it just stopped completely. Cleaned the contacts, changed the fob battery (#2032), bought a new fob and....nothing.

Tried YouTube methods and.....nothing. Googled the problem and was referred back to this thread. Tried everything suggested and still nothing. Then I reread the thread and saw the recommendation to disconnect the van's battery for 10 minutes. I took the cable off and watched the clock for a complete 10 minutes. Reconnected the battery, got in the van, locked and unlocked the door, put the key in and cycled it 8 times before leaving it in the on position, at which time the van doors cycled. I then pressed the unlock button on my original fob and bingo! Then followed with the new fob button and bingo too! Finally done after a week of fiddling.

That's because you drive a multiplexed network of computers that resembles a van and as any tech support you may have talked to directed you towards fixing an issue computer wise is to reboot.

You rebooted your van.

Precisely. I still have to press the fob's door lock button twice, once for drivers rear and side, and another to get the passenger side to lock.
