The front suspension travel is unacceptable. I want my 2" back. I'll add bags and spring cups to the rear to keep the truck level under load. Real trucks have had adjustable suspension for as long as I've been alive.
What are these real trucks you are talking about? What trucks come with adjustable suspension?
Big rigs have air ride. Low loads, less pressure, more load more pressure. Self leveling, adjustable in less than a minute, which is a bit overkill for us.
My biggest disappointment with the '17's is that they look lifted, even clear huge tires, but there isn't even enough room between the bumpstop and axle for my fist. An easy fix.

Totally agree. I wish these trucks came leveled with auto leveling air bags in the rear. Or at least as an option. Easy enough to add aftermarket though. The nose dive look is ridiculous. Looks like you're lifting your skirt for the cars behind you.
I think it's a liability thing. It may actually happen, Dodge has it. But the aftermarket setups are better since they still allow full travel when they disconnect. I'm not certain if the Dodge setup flex's well?

I like to think of it as mooning the folks behind me.
I'm one who thinks the rake looks extremely stupid. But, it's necessary. Wish Ford would add in rear airbags. Even Ram has it, and it is glorious. The truck comes from the factory nice and level. Add in 3000 lbs, and it's still level, take it out, still level. Seriously though, that's like the only option Ram has that the Ford doesn't.
My answer is yes and yes. I installed small level blocks that if I remember right were 1 1/2". Raised the front enough that it's not all jacked in the rear, still has rake when not loaded and isn't squatting in the back when any of my trailers are hooked up! Makes the Toyo Open Country A/T's also look good in my opinion.
