Hello,
I recently changed out my Passenger window arm and motor on my 87 F-150 since it was destroyed beyond repair. Now however it seems that the window is binding as the window goes up. It is a little slow going down but the window does not stop but if i bring the window back up it binds to the point that the motor cant raise it. I would appreciate any advice any one could give me to try and fix this problem.
There are or should be small adjustments you can make to how the regulator is secured to the door. Try backing off the bolts/nuts on the regulator and then running the window up and down.

I tried loosing the bolts and took the arm off and tried to move the window by hand to see if I get the same result. The window still binds about half way up.

Nylon window roller (23240 in pic) clips to the stud of the window regulator (23200), then slides into the channel (21458) that the glass is adhered to.
If the roller breaks, the window binds up and/or falls down to the bottom of the door).
The nylon gear (D0AZ-62234A24-B) in the window motor (not shown in pic) is available by itself, so you don't have to buy a new motor (unless it has burned out).
Available from auto parts store and it's the same: 1970/91 FoMoCo Passenger Cars; 1975/91 Econoline; 1981/91 F100/350 & Bronco.
