Thanks

Thanks it helps . one problem I have is I thought the white wire was a ground . So I hooked up the white to neg. and red to power. No spark duh now did i Burn somthing up? Also what about resistor wire they are talking about ? can you take a piece of wire from the 83 and and run it to a hot wire on my thuck. If i don't use the resistor will have to much volts and ruin something.
Thank you

I have no idea if the 90 used a resistor wire. The wire is installed, in the 70-80's anyway, from the ignition switch to a splice by the firewall. The resistance is used to drop the voltage to around 9 volts during running. I think it is to extend coil life and/or prevent premature coil burnup.
If you want to wire exactly as illustrated get a ballast resistor ( approx 1-1,3 ohms should be fine) from a Chrysler product, get 2 they due burn up unannounced Then install the resistor under the hood in a good place for airflow, keeps it cool and makes it last longer.
Let us know how it turns out. Also feel free to email me for more info or be sure and repost if more questions arise.
No spark
something must of happened before you told me how to wire it up the right way. Like I said I hooked up the wires in the 2 wire plug like this white to ground and red to positive . Tryed to change the module still no spark. only 2 things left coil and distributor. I am mad at my self becuse that motor ran so good in the other truck. what do you think it is?
Thanks for your help .

It's running!!! Needed to run the power to the coil. For some reason I thought I only need to run the power to the Ignition module. When I untaped the all the wires I could see there was no power going to coil. I feel pretty dumb and I read the conversion 10 times.
Thanks to all !!!!!!
