Got and Orange and black HD F250. The Arizona sun has killed the clear coat. I have clear coat peeling on both sets of doors, need a repaint. Does anyone have a part number or source for the Harley stripe kit? I've searched the forum, but all I find is threads about the ghost flames. anybody????
Back around 05 , after the 04 harley sd trucks came out, I cloned my 02 F350standard cab 4x4 truck with the harley wheels , emblems and stripes. Usually people do just emblems with aftermarket wheels. The complete set of stripes were ordered through the dealer, and at the time trade price (not list)was in the $400 range or so for the set, but the problem was even then, several of the stripes were back ordered and it took about 3 months to finally assemble a complete set. Every panel used a different part number from ford, and there was 3 different stripe color variations also. Considering inflation , its a pricey task . Also installation took at least 8 hours to do it right.
Oem and thru the sponser of the forum ed the parts guy would be the answer provided they are even available and not discontinued. It is even possible some are available and others might be discontinued.
For part numbers they are listed in the body shop catalogs bodyshops use when estimating wrecks.
Back in 05, harley superduty emblems and the 04 harley wheels had flooded the ebay market because ford had over produced those parts and had discounted them thru their parts network to blow them out cheap. A set of 3 emblems cost maybe $150 and the wheels were going new in the ford box on ebay for maybe $125 a wheel. Center caps and lugs were separate. Trade price on each lug nut is now like $8 each x 32 = $256 just in lug nuts!!!!!
