Well it's done, I am happy. Only downside, although not for me because I ran into the same thing w/my '93 when I installed a billet grille was that you can no longer stick your hand in to unlatch the hood, I carry a 1' piece of wood lathe and stick it in between the 2 top horizontal rows...
Remove grille, remove center section w/squares, do not trim to close on the left and right sides, remove all brackets from new grille, it will just fit top and bottom, you need to cut out little sections of the back side top and bottom, old grille surround, for it to lay completely in, tapered a little on the bottom 3 or 4 , as that is how the '90 f150 is build, bond it in or use screws to hold it in place. have other pics.
