Not sure what else to call it. except I can't find one. My 2003 F350 dually has a billet grill in place, which is surrounded by what looks like a stock grill with the center cut out. Just the frame, and the outside left and right smaller grills. The one I have dows not appear to have been dremel'ed out or anything. Ford says it's a modified stock grill.
I have never seen the surround sold separate. If it was its aftermarket, but I've never seen it. Are you sure the billet is just not inserted over the factor grille? that is common.
I've actually seen the surround part alone sold on eBay I think. I'll see if I can find it again. Would of been nice to know before I spent 2 hours cutting the center plastics out of my OEM grille in order to insert the T-Rex.

I'll have to get some photos....the billet is screwed into the frame around the radiator, then the surround is clipped at the bottom and screwed in at the top.
