You didnt say what van you have. This is for a 1988 E150
Somewhere under the dash on the drivers, if the wiring is there from the factory (I do not know if it is on a van that originally had no locks), you should find something like this.. I think the brace is part of the dash brace. The door lock relays or socket connectors are marked in red.
