1990 e350 grille

Would like to spruce up the front of my e350 van, have a billet one on the '93, love it but nobody makes a non stock grille for the '90. Anyone ever done anything w/the stock grille as far as replacing w/non stock ? Thanks in advance.

I have an 88 e150 and am looking for ideas for a custom grill myself. Would love to change it up for sure.

I have been looking at the 90 F350 billet/aluminum grille, you can get them on ebay for $60.00, 47 x 15, or so. they are basically the same width as the honeycombed/ little squares center that ours are that ours are, maybe a little taller. I have thought about ordering one, pulling off my complete grille and check the feasibility of carefully cutting out the center if I think I could mate it w/the '90 F350 billet grille. What do you think ?

1979/91 Econoline grilles interchange. 1982/91's have the blue oval emblem in the grille, 1979/81's do not.

I am sure it could be done. The grill is just hard plastic and it doesn't provide any structural support. It is just a matter of how much time and money you want to invest.

Lots of time, good original grille, spend 60.00 on billet grill, might love the front of my '90.

Just ordered a billet grill for a '91 f series truck, will be a winter project to integrate it into my '90 E350 grille.

I think the truck grille is narrower and possibly shorter. But I've never compared them side by side. Even though I own both.

If someone really wanted to, with some time/money and a whole lot of aluminum bar stock. You could make a full width billet grille that covered the lights.

The width should be pretty much right on, may have to remove a horizontal bar or two, we shall see, just something to do to change up the front.

Well the 1st grille was a no go, the only measurements I could find on it were, much to my dismay, packaging measurements. Sold it to my brother and after a little bit more investigation and some calls to verify size lol, I ordered a billet grille for a '90 F series truck. The grille starts to angle in a couple of inches from the bottom but I don't see that as a problem at this time, almost finished and will post pics next week.

Of course the 2nd pic is of the grille, 1st is w/out the grille and last is the center that I removed.

Well it's done, I am happy. Only downside, although not for me because I ran into the same thing w/my '93 when I installed a billet grille was that you can no longer stick your hand in to unlatch the hood, I carry a 1' piece of wood lathe and stick it in between the 2 top horizontal rows...
