Are you sure it doesn't just stay in?? On my "tribal" grille my honeycomb grille just stayed in.

You didn't happen to look at the directions yet did ya ?? haha

When I replaced my '02 Super Duty's grill with a billet grill, I just popped the hood and eyeballed the stock grill. I traced where it went and examined each screw that was attached in any fashion to it, then determined if it held the front grill on or not. There were only about 5-6 screws, if memory serves. There may be one or two behind the grille, b/t the grill and the radiator, so check there too.

Shouldn't be too tough; check it out, you'll find 'em...

Good luck,
Daryl

grille

I just did a full replacement grille for my 2002 f150 4.2 V6 not to long ago. Here's the deal. You have to open the hood and take off the plastic radior cover, then you need to take out the head lights and blinkers, after that you take out the chrome pice that the grille is in now. After that is out you have to remove the old grille by taking it out of the clips it is locked into. Then with mine I had to cut off all of the clips that were holding the old grille in. From there on is the install. Let me warn you though you are going to have to do a lil bit of "custom" work to get that grille to go in perfect, Depending on how picky you are, but it is well worth it, I love my grille.

P.S.
The grille comes with instructions on how to remove the old one and hown to install the new, but we all know how good some of those directions are.
