My Two Trucks

It has come to my attention that I should really have a cover for my driver's side battery and PCM.
I decided to hold off on replacing the solenoids for now. I don't have a garage/shop, it's cold out, and I'm not experiencing shifting problems. The possibility of having to remove the valve body to get at one of them was not terribly appealing yesterday evening, after dark, and I needed the truck today. Who knows - maybe they'll end up in the crew cab next spring as it is more likely to be hauling heavy loads.
Here's the old and new dummy plugs. I had to reshape that clip to get it to hold the new one in.

Nice work! Glad to see you've made good progress on things.
Mom lived in Sumas as a young child, then lived in Lynden until college. Lot of family around there and just north of the border. Know the area well, aunt and uncle in Abbotsford.
Sadly, Sumas is a shell of the town it was years ago unless things have changed recently.
I've seen the airshow there a few times, been to Grouse Mt via the shuttle, Capliano.........just about moved out to Whatcom county when I was younger.
I almost went with a different color, but this time pink felt very much like a statement worth making.I lived in Abbotsford for 10 years ('87 - '97) and we would often go to Sumas for gas and dairy products. It definitely doesn't seem like much goes on there, then or now. I remember Lynden as being a nice place to visit, though. I was in high school then, and the mall in Bellingham was a huge draw. Did lots of hiking and skiing on Mt Baker.
Until 2 weeks ago I hadn't crossed the border since I moved away. I knew enough to bring passports along (was never once asked for ID in the '90s!), but we had a bit of an adventure with border patrol on our way back north. Being checked by US customs on my way out of the country was a new experience, too.
