Oh, OK, they list them and show them in their "kit" but maybe that's the part that would get fastened to my existing division bars via rivets? Is that what you are thinking? Price wise it makes sense since their kit is about $70-$80 less than everyone else. Carol was very nice on the phone but it sounded like she was very busy and had limited people to ask. I will review this further. It's not really the price that i'm worried about, i just want to get the right stuff and that is why i would rather get a proven "kit" so that i don't cobble stuff together and find out after i try and insert the glass that it's all wrong. I'm just about ready to buy the SS kit from Carpenter and scuff the chrome off and paint it !!

Anyhow I asked him about their division bars, painted or stainless.? He said they don't sell them and they call them window separaters. So maybe they meant their glass runs have a stainless bead on them, which I think they did originally. It makes sense that they don't carry division bars as they don't specialize in Ford or any other brand parts, just Restoration things that are common to all makes.

The girl I talked to got a guy named Jeff from the warehouse to talk to me. Back in 1999 when redid my 54 this was all we had to choose from. No one was making division bars with the glass runs in place. Why don't you wait until my stuff comes and I'll drive my 54 and show you the job I did in 1999 and show you my new stuff I got from them.

I ordered from Dennis Carpenter but now i need to call them and ask before they process the order
To be clear, there are not any division bars that are part of the kit from Steele. The anti-rattle strips have a stainless bead reveal and are delivered preformed. There are also formed channels that fit well into the keeper frames. The seals for the division bar fit nicely and seat with some rubber adhesive.
