Project 59 4x4

Well, the gathering is coming together. I think I have the rancher talked into selling me this body, been working on him a few years but he has a 60 4x4 he still uses and wants to keep it for parts but not the body now. I have a late 77 F250 4x4 camper special chassis and a 460/ZF and T case from and 89. I have a plane B,C, and D for bodys but this is my favorite color and a Custom Cab.

Also a question, would this have originally had a chrome bumper or was that still an option on a custom cab?

Optional.

1973/79 F100/250 w/an 8' bed have a 133" wheelbase. The width between the inner rear frame rails behind the cab (except High Boys): 37 1/2."

I'm going out to make the deal Saturday. I bought a banged up but complete 60 F100 4x4 last night I hope to trade him for it, and got another real solid 59 Custom cab parts truck in the deal with a nice chrome grill, nice windshield, real nice doors, hood, horn ring, magic air heater.
Anyone want to trade me a set of decent F250 emblems for the F100 ones?

I've bought several used 1961/66 F100 innie & outie dog dish hubcaps from him for 5 bucks each.

These were stainless and I have a Q&D method of repainting the letters without using painters tape.

I had a pal put one (C4AZ-1130-A outie) on ebay, it sold the very first day for the 'buy it now' price of 100 bucks.
