The clutch related parts should be available NOS and some are repro'd, so you don't have to mess with old rusty used parts.

From what I see, you have two Uni's, the F100 and the "Step Down" that is a true Uni, because the body/chassis (supplied by Briggs) is a one piece welded assembly.

Uni inre to the F100 refers to the fact that the bed is welded to the cab. Otherwise, a Uni is body on frame construction as were most cars/trucks back then.

You have the F100 Uni, the other Uni is the Step Down...Hudson.

When the new Hudson was introduced in 1948, the ads said: "The Only Car With Step Down Ride."

You stepped down into the car, as the floor was recessed due to the perimeter frame.

Every other car from this time frame, the floor was as flat as Coffeyville KS (that I visited a week ago).

Hudson's were true Uni's as the body and frame (supplied by the Briggs Body Co.) was a one piece welded assembly.

When Chrysler bought Briggs in 1953, it sounded the death knell for Hudson, already reeling from the Jet fiasco.

Ah I see, Hudsons not mine though, that pic was taken at a buddy's house, he was putting some tires that held air on it for us.
