I'm going to try them I think but only concern is being to bright for on coming traffic as well as cars I'm fallowing. But when I go LED I'm going PIAA as I have used other lights from them and the quality is the best you can get.
I just ordered them and had them overnighted. I will install them this weekend and write a report. I hope they work as the video shows. If so, I'll be very happy because we will finally have a good plug and play replacement with a decent beam pattern!
I just installed these last week. I've driven the truck a number of times at night and I don't see any glare to incoming traffic. I've never been 'flashed' by other drivers.
These bulbs make an unbelievable difference compared to stock. 3 or 4 times better brightness. Headlight Revolution looked at about a dozen difference bulbs to make this work the best and the only sell those bulbs for this application.
Buy with confidence.
FYI....no need to remove the headlight assemblies and grill as described in some of their videos. You can remove the air intake and washer pipe easily.
My drivers side stock bulb was stuck so I chose to remove the battery so I could get a better angle for my arm to apply more torque to the bulb.
First of all, that video was a complete lie with the overly exagersted numbers on the LEDs putting out over 2k lux at 20ft. Sorry to say I would have tossed the "preferred" ones away if it was me. The claim he made about 2-3 times brighter than halogen is not true. The low beams will scatter the light too much, the high beams will take the light up too high while turning off the lows making it look like there's no lights ahead on the road. The actual cutoff is a round beam with a dark hole in the center that's why they "look" bright if standing in front.
By the way we did a similar test on the 2018 F-150 and took a full video actually showing the lux test meter readings. As you can see the revolutionaries didn't show it.
Those headlights he chose as top performers have less than half of the performance of our LEDs and at least a good 2 year older compared to ours.
If I may suggest a true alternative to the halogen bulb I would go with a true bixenon canbus hid system. No problems with the Drls, no problems with scattered light on low beams and certainly won't complain about the high beams and it's truly the brightest at 20ft away will put 150% increase over the LEDs and 311% over halogen. The biggest difference between the led kit and hid is that the hid will still give you a good light output and at 120ft the hids will have a 200% increase over the led and whooping 3200% increase over halogen. At 180ft away the increase from hid to led is 600% and the halogen Does not produce any lux after 120ft.
Redrock, any pics of your truck with these bulbs installed?
I am very interested in these for my 350.
Here is my best pic. The stock halogen bulb is in the fog position so you can see the difference in color.
I did just purchase my fogs from vanquish and should have them installed in the next couple days.
I don't have a meter to back what I said about the increased brightness of the V3's but I can tell you it's an amazing difference compared to stock and I am very happy with it. Stock bulbs are pathetic. My truck is now comparable to the stock LED lighting output that came in my 2016 Audi S6. Audi is known for lighting and these V3's are in the ballpark.

Thanks for the pictures - the whiter look of the Super Nova's looks really good. I've been thinking of ordering a set as well.
What is your take on the high beams? My main complaint with the stock bulbs is the "down the road" distance of the high beams. Low beams are fine and the high beams really throw a lot light to the sides but compared to my '05 F-150, the distance you get with the high beams is terrible.
I like the look of the LED's, but better distance on the high beams would be what gets to buy a set.
Reliability and no quirky BS along with factory connections is what would get me to jump on a set. I've read of too many people that are having weird issues of them turning off while idling in traffic etc. for me to jump for now.
I will see if I can get some night pics over the next couple days and post them. Try to grab both high beam and low beam.
To me the night vision is pretty amazing with 4 headlights. Yes you get wider vision in high beam but it's also incredibly bright. Deer avoidance safety with long distance road awareness.

^ This.
I'm struggling with the inconsistent reviews and feedback on any of the LED replacements I've seen to feel comfortable buying a set, regardless of the price. I just don't know if these replacement bulbs are ready for prime-time.
I was able to snap a couple pics tonight of my Supernova V3's
I was parked on this road so I was in the same position for both the low beam pic and the high beam pic. The grassy sides of the road slope upwards on both sides.
To me side to side visibility is great. The light from the 4 headlights is pretty focused on the center of the road and then is spreads out from there. I have not yet been flashed by oncoming cars so although these bulbs are very bright the light is focused in the right places.
Low beams...light is even and nicely spread out.
High Beams...light is still even, nicely spread out but those trees are really lit up in the background. I would guess those trees are about a 7 or 8 iron away.
