Those headlights he chose as top performers have less than half of the performance of our LEDs and at least a good 2 year older compared to ours.

If I may suggest a true alternative to the halogen bulb I would go with a true bixenon canbus hid system. No problems with the Drls, no problems with scattered light on low beams and certainly won't complain about the high beams and it's truly the brightest at 20ft away will put 150% increase over the LEDs and 311% over halogen. The biggest difference between the led kit and hid is that the hid will still give you a good light output and at 120ft the hids will have a 200% increase over the led and whooping 3200% increase over halogen. At 180ft away the increase from hid to led is 600% and the halogen Does not produce any lux after 120ft.

not that Im disputing your claims or knowledge. By chance while testing F150's did you test Super Duties? Do you have a video or pics for comparison of your recommendation to what was posted?
I ask because it would definitely help me make a better informed decision

To me side to side visibility is great. The light from the 4 headlights is pretty focused on the center of the road and then is spreads out from there. I have not yet been flashed by oncoming cars so although these bulbs are very bright the light is focused in the right places.

Low beams...light is even and nicely spread out.

High Beams...light is still even, nicely spread out but those trees are really lit up in the background. I would guess those trees are about a 7 or 8 iron away.

Looks really good man, really good.

Can't wait to hear if you have any quirky issues...if not I'll pull the trigger myself.

Do you still get full factory function? Auto,DRL etc. I'm trying to decide if they are worth the money compare to upper end Halogens.

I have been running the LED's 100% of the time with the DRL's on...zero issues. They just work.

Headlights are fantastic. The auto high beam with the LED's is a game changer. Zero issues.

The auto on function works just like the factory set up also.

Last night I ordered more LED's from Headlight Revolution. I picked up their Fogs and chose the plug and play version. They are the fog version of my headlights. I also bought the LED's for the pretty dim license plate lights.

If this goes well then my next steps will be to convert the tail lights and reverse lights.

In post #8 you said you had ordered fogs from Vanquish, did you change your mind and go with HR? Curious, because I got headlights, turn sigs and fogs from HR and will try to install today.

I tried to get fogs from Vanquish.

I just placed an order for fogs from HR (Headlight Revolution). Supernova V3’s to match my headlights. I also bought the license plate LED’s and hopefully can get those installed this week.

If all that goes well then I will do the tail lights and reverse lights.

They are not, and they are far from that. We went ahead and put together the best kit you can throw at this truck. It's a particular type of canbus system that can work with drls and will give you the right beam cutoff and excellent high beams.

It's unbelievable to see companies like headlight revolution putting up fake numbers on usable light from those led bulbs. I can assure you the output gets reduced by 1/3 to 2/3 from the halogens. The point of upgrading should not be just for color.

Here is a test video we took for 2018 F-150 at 80 ft away, and this is why a high-end led kit. I wouldn't even waste my time of adding the headlight revolution into the equation unless I get enough requests:

And here is a quick walkaround of the 2017 SD with the HID system we put together for this truck, it's bulletproof and a TRUE UPGRADE to the halogens. Don't mind the color of the lights, for some reason the phone took the video and the color was off completely.

Is it possible you could do a side by side comparison? I can send you a kit that you can return afterwards. We will take care of the shipping back and forth. It will help the forum a lot.

Actually no I am not interested.

I have no way to measure the light output of the V3’s I bought from Headlight Revolution but the lighting in my photos is very accurate for color and you can certainly tell they are significantly brighter than stock. I was sent the correct bulbs promptly and they worked perfectly from the get go.

Do you know how I can get a refund for the incorrect fogs I was sent by Vanquish. I can’t get anyone to return my phone calls or emails. I am only interested in a refund at this point. Thank you.
