You might start by looking for other hacks the PO left for you. It would be curious to know what computer is in the truck?

I'm not on here enough to follow along with this and not sure I could help much if I did. Those diagrams in the threads I mentioned are the way I would go if it were me. Some people on here have the original Ford documentation with the wiring diagrams and system descriptions.

Post pictures of your door stickers and under hood stickers with emissions numbers and such. Part numbers on the computer and ignition modules. Maybe one of them can help.

I'm out on a job right now, but when I get home tonight I will try. I know for sure I don't have a door sticker, but I'll take a few pictures of what I do have. I also have the shop manual for electrical, but it looks like ancient aliens scribbling to me lol.
