I made the mistake of buying LED's from Amazon. What a waste of money and time. They start out great and then do the "old soldier thing". They just fade away...
Unless you are buying a "Made in America" LED light, you should probably assume that it comes from the same Asian supply chains where everyone else is getting their LED's from.....like everything you buy, there is luck of the draw. Some people have leaks in the sunroofs of their 70K truck. With Amazon's return policy, send it back; if it goes out after that, post a review and complain, the seller will usually hook you up. Just my take, we all like saving money.
Just went for a drive and there 100% better than stock and I'm really picky. Make sure that when you install them the two chips are facing up to the top Bulbs, and reverse for the bottom bulb. Nice cut off and no one flashed me.
Anybody that already installed amazon led headlights care to show the other members the beam pattern for low beams against a wall at least 30 ft away. Cover one headlight, then cover the lower bulb on the other headlight to just show one light on and see how the pattern shows on the wall. If you see a "flashlight" pattern or a round circle of light you will know that is not a good headlight that's acceptable for road use. You will want an actual cutoff comparable to the halogen bulbs.I will give those who bought the amazon lights a $100 worth of our lights for the ones that show an actual cutoff line and not a flashlight pattern. Also know your leds are putting 1/3 of the usable lumens of your halogens.
Here is a picture of the flashlight pattern of these bulb ( its low beam and looks like highs)
44 usable lumens at 36 Ft away
Vanquish Auto LED Headlight with cutoff line on low beam ( twice as bright as the halogens)
Babble....maybe 3W? is that a statement? Or do you know for sure...."warn other people very wall but won't do much for you" do you even read what you write?
As I back out each morning, they shine all the way up to the top story of the house behind me, which warns them as they sleep, haha.....pretty useable light even though they are out of the light bucket.
You are right on the money! lol Was trying to write from the phone and it would NOT let me see what I was trying to type so yeah I don't expect I was making any sense sorry! I would be happy to get you a set so you can do a before and after and let everyone know what you think.
I was trying to say drop in bulbs, not yours in particular are not useful for backup lights and can't be compared to these dedicated backup bulbs. You got to see it to understand.

I've tried 2 different sets off amazon that had bad patterns. I just figure you can't put an led bulb in a halogen housing and have given up. I am planning on just doing a factory led headlight conversion, unless your bulbs are as good as you say.

Please see the pictures, they speak by themselves. They have a curved shield on the low beam chipsets and the bulb can be adjusted on the beam pattern. They have great fans to keep the diodes cool and actual drivers. All that stuff is what all these knockoffs are missing, but people see "all in one" led "headlights" and they think its better because it's got less stuff hanging around.
I was thinking about trying the vanquish head lights.... however they are no longer offering 50% off only 20% so that makes it a no for me. I guess I'll go with the $90 amazon LED's.
