99 sd remote start
i recently got a 99 sd f250 7.3L it does have the 3-button keyless entry remotes, but curios if there is a way to tell if it has remote start or what exactly i need to add remote start? been striking out on searches so far so figured better check here before i spend who knows how many hrs searching for info

sadly stereo shops never seem to last long around this area. i know bestbuy still sells remote starters not sure on installing since never seem to find an employee in that department at either of my local stores. but hesitant with aftermarket units after my last couple having really cheaply made remote cases that break regularly. have heard the factory keyless entry system may be a codealarm system that i may be able to put a different module in and connect some wires. still gotta sort through some of the wiring mess under my dash and find the unit. had afew items with cut wires i had to hook back up.
