Saturday !!
My daughter has been saying she wants to go to the beach when we are in Florida. Last night the wife and I decided to add an extra day and surprise her with a stop over in Daytona on the way home.

Sounds like more fun. I booked our 2018 cruise on Celebrity short 4 day Ft Lauderdale, Key West, Nassua. Our neighbors are going with us. My b-i-l/s-i-l gad to cancel for the one in Nov due to medical. He gad an incident at work was suspended for 2 weeks. He has congestive heart failure and now has early stages of dementia. He was forced into retirement. He is 58 his nirth day is March mine is July. He will get 80% of his salary plus he should get his SSA disability

yeah we were affected slightly, got tons of heavy rain. the hurricane was further south, not getting the intensity of what they feel though

Loaded up my utility trailer to go to mom in laws to mow the grass and noticed the Suburban water pump was leaking, dang it. Glad I saw it leaking in the driveway and not broken down on the side of the road! Ordered a new water pump, thermostat and belt from amazon, should be here on Tuesday.

the coast is bad. some towns evacuated. I got a buddy in Houston, says its bad. I was just in Austin last weekend, we got lucky with the planning.
Today was a test of sobor, everything was just sucky, and that monte carlo came back.
BUT, painter and my PDR guy are 100% in on doing side work, so Im cleaning my shop out to take in 2 cars, and my painter is going to get his place ready for some serious work. If all 3 of us could roll 3 cars a week, wed each bank 2k or more.

My outlook on life has changed. Going to church tomorrow then hitting my shop hard. That case of beer in the fridge is tempting, but Im not doing it. I like to leave my temptations in front of me, hard to say no but I feel like Ive advanced more than most.

That great use the beer for cooking. Beer batter fries or hush puppies. Many , many years ago there was a restaurant in Atlanta that had beer steamed hotdogs. I use to marinate with beer.
