Cab lights

I just looked up my trucks VIN.
It has drivers sides door activated dome light with auto delayed off.
It does not work. I can turn the dome light on or off manually, but that's it.
Anyone have a clue whats wrong with it? There is a time delay something somewhere. Any ideas?

I'd start with the switch. What's the passenger's side door do? I do not know if it sets the delay function or not.

The code indicates drivers side activation. I can only get them to turn on by using the switch on the light. The truck will detect when you open the door. If the key is in the ignition, so the switch seems to work. I'm not sure where it is located.

Pull the bulb, use a meter to see if have power when the door opens, when you turn up dash lights etc. Check for corrosion or solder missing.

It's not a bulb issue. I can turn on the light with the switch on the light. It never turns on when you open the doors. It's just dark unless you manual use the switch. Does anyone know anything about the delay circuit? Do you have a wiring diagram?
