Medicare paid for my cateract surgery and one pair of glasses. If it weren't for that, I'd be making myself a white stick with a red tip. LOL

It is nice that it is not a serious problem.

My eyes are getting much worse the last couple years and may have to give in to the fact I may have to start wearing glasses on a regular basis...

Time for me to say good night...say hello to Don for me when he arrives..

Have a good one John.

I have worn glasses or contacts for 32 years. 4 years ago my reading vision was starting to get bad. It was just enough that my eye doc had me wear reader glasses with the contacts. I got tired of the Ben Franklin look at work so I ended up switching to prescription progressive glasses. The decision was easy after having two corneal abrasions in the same eye, the second one I had no idea how it happened.

Sorry I am late.. My brother ended up getting in at 9:45 pm instead of 5 PM

Had a connecting flight from Philly to Manchester cancelled

Then his new flight was to Boston and that kept getting delayed and didn't leave till after 8 pm

The first one I got while trying to get the spare tire down on the old truck. I was even wearing safety glasses and still ended up with some crud in my eye. The tire winch was set up and did not work. The second one, who knows how I did it.

My first one was from a black fly.. I was working outside with my Grandfather and they were swarming around and one Kamakasi went right in..

The second time was when my oldest son was a baby.. Those hands were pretty quick.. LOL Got me right in the eye
