Before Illinois changed to plates that have yearly stickers, Plates were a different color each year and could be picked out in the crowd.
I remember when they used to change color each year, sometime in the early 70's I think they went with permanent plates and stickers..

I didn't vote for him the first time he ran. The only thing on his agenda worthwhile was term limits and that didn't work.

The State has a recall on plates that are corroded to the point of not being able to read the numbers. Maybe that's why.
