99 F350 with the typical dim display on the overhead. I ah e resoldered the chips back down and it did help for awhile but I have ignored it for the last year or so. Well now it is dime again. Took it out to check my works from years ago and noticed a burn mark at the top left of the display. My soldering job still holding so I cleaned off solder and tried again. No go. So it seems the display itself is the issue.
I found some links in this forum but most don't work. So... where can I find a replacement that is REASONABLE in cost? I have found them from$200 on up to just over 400. Not a chance.
I know years ago I found some site that sold them for about $100. Anyon eoknow of a site?
Just the shorty overhead. Temp and compass
There are quite a numberof resistors on the pcb. The ones that fall off of mine are 690 and I had one that stopped working. If they ohm out ok then time to send into repair facility.

If I remember mine are all labeled 680 and 620. Tough to ohm them out properly when still attached to the board and hate to in-solder them just to check. May have to hit the local pick-n-pull and see if I can get lucky.
