Well hear I am again fix one problem now I got another problem last time it was fuel now it's oil so what I got goin on is a oil leak that looks like it's coming from on top the motor on the back I first discovered this nice surprise when I went into the store and came back out and seen two 8 inch round puddles of oil laying on both sides of the motor like I said at the back I thought oh **** rear main seal but upon further inspection it's coming from somewhere on top and rolling down both sides of the motor looks like near the turbo what could this be possibly a line or a check velve or seal or o ring on the turbo? Is there a common thing to go bad on these trucks to cause a leak in that area? Thanks in advance.
Could be the turbo oil drain. If I remember correctly, it is a tube under the turbo that returns the oil to the motor. I believe it has one or two o ring seals. It would show up as a leak off the back of the engine.

How would I diagnose that can I see it with a flash light with out removing the turbo?
Look straight down behind the oil filter. There's a gap between the rear of the oil cooler base plate and the turbo pedestal that crosses the entire block. If that metal isn't coated in oil, then it's something further back. It would be easier if you have am inspection camera, because it's very tight with a lot of junk in the way.
Lines are where to look down, circle is what you're trying to get a visual on

UPDATE today I had some time to move some things out of the way and get a better look under and around the turbo and I found this under the turbo is there any lines under there that a mouse could have chewed through?

Hey guys I did some more digging around and I found my oil leak it's seaping out from the base of the oil filter housing what is involved in fixing this can I just change a gasket or do I have to change the whole housing? Thanks
If it just the tall cylinder section then yes just a bit O-ring.
The PITA part is you have to disconnect all the fuel lines so
that you can lift that section up and pull out the old seal.
Make sure that it's the lower seal and not the one for the cap.
The cap should get a new O-ring at each filter change.
Also a cracked cap can also be a leaker.

Just wanted to UPDATE got the O ring today and installed it and still have the same leak so upon further and better inspection the oil filter housing is cracked between it and the fuel bowl so time for a new one of them. Cracked wear the red arrow is pointing in the picture below. I gotta say it's a good feeling to know for sure what the problem is with the fuel problem I had recently was a month long drawn out trial and error nightmare of trying to figure out what and wear the problem was. Thanks again to everyone for all the help that has been provided this is a great forum.
