Information only, it will not really hurt anything IMO
There are many Ford bulletins concerning flushing and filters, they no longer offer the inline filters IIRR
We used to flush them and install a filter
Still like the filters myself
Someone decided they didn't do squat

Well I was taking some things apart today to see what would come out. Accum/drier is out, and rear evaporator, boy was she filthy. However, the line, the line connecting to the right side of the evaporator, where the orfice tube off is being very tough. Got the spring to push in I believe, but I can’t get the line to spin or move at all. Been hitting it with pb and wd40 for a few days. Gonna try again tomorrow hopefully with some more luck.
What about flushing the filters, that’s a no go correct?
You can flush anything that's metal
Try to twist that line back and forth
You should be able to get it off if you have days for the rust penetrant to work
A little heat might help
If you can get the garter spring pushed back and possibly twist the garter spring, that helps
The other solution is to replace the evaporator for about 900 bucks, so you do all you can to get the hose off and not destroy anything
You can do it
I go back and forth cleaning it out with chlorinated Brakleen then shooting either Rostoff or PB blaster in there
