Morning IL...rise and shine!!!
My father did that years ago...bought a mower at Wally World...clerk told him it was all set and ready to go. About an hour into mowing...it died!!! He called me...I went over...found no oil in it...investigated further...found a bottle of oil in the bagger!!!
I loaded the machine into my car...went back to Wally World...spoke to the manager. He said it was my father's fault because he didn't check the oil. We told him about the clerk saying it was ready to go. After a lot of hassle...he finally agreed to replace the mower. He might have been a bit intimidated by me...I was royally pi$$ed!!!

Was in the box when I got it in March, I poured the oil supplied in it before starting. First thing this morning I was at the Walmart that I bought it. They said to take it to so and so. A rod cap came loose and hit the crankcase knocking a hole in it. The repair shop said Briggs may put a new engine on it or they could replace just the damaged parts but it is under warranty.
Howdy Rick...when it happened to my father...they tried to pull the take it somewhere else crap. No way was I going to fall for that...it was their fault.

Good evening Illinois, Jim, John, Shaun, Ken, Pat, and Don! 
Severe storm warnings have been expired for about an hour now but we had 4 tornado warnings stacked on top of each other, a tornado was sited 10 miles North of the City limits. Received an inch of rain this morning when a severe thunderstorm passed threw before dawn and received another inch this evening. It has gotten mighty dry here since the last rain about three weeks ago.

I wouldn't let the Walmart oil monkeys attempt to work on anything that is mine. I knew that I was going to have to take it to someone else right out of the gate, its four months old.

Chicago is no place that I need to go but we do have to go by E.St.Louis to get to my daughters in High Ridge, Mo.
