Can you run the motor now that the tranny is out??
Might be worth running it till it leaks

I'd have to put the antifreeze back in but still have no way of starting it without the bell housing on to hold the starter, plus the ring gear is off too..
Got to go now, going to be another early day tomorrow...ttyl

I think that antifreeze has been in that bell housing a long time, possibly since it was removed from the donor truck.

He did say just last week that the engine and tranny weren't ever split.
I think it got in there when the heater hoses were removed from the heater and it ran into the vent on top of the bell housing.
