It looks like my '90 F-150 grill, don't know about the dash.
I don't really hate it but I wouldn't wreck a good truck by inserting plastic in it. At least it has a nice paint job, unlike rusty tetanus carrying roach rod.
Don't laugh - I almost went and looked at that! It was on my local craigslist a while back. It is a 1953 Chevy cab that is chopped, nosed and decked. 1960 T-bird box. 272 Pontiac Inline 6 motor. 2000 S10 chassis. Ad said it needed finishing. I think it was painted to look like a patina finish. Thought that it would benefit from a new paint job. They were asking $5,500.
This one just came back on Craigslist. Swapped out the 272 Pontiac Inline 6 for a 350 and increased the price to $8000. I do like the concept, but some of the body work (especially on the front) leaves a lot to be desired.
Today I went to the Rats Nest Run In. Lots of rats, rods and customs. There were some really creative creations! Although I think some of you would place the majority of vehicles at the show in this 'waste of metal' category. This was one of the more radical vehicles:
I usually go to the rats nest show but this year I have just been too busy to hit many shows. Some of the stuff is junk, but there are a lot of neat cars that are worth checking out.
Ford had a V-10 in the 2005 era. Owned a 05 E 450 with one and had lots of get up and go. Went to Saskatchewan and back in it pulling a trailer and brought back a couple trucks. Ran along about 135 km an hour in Sask. but loved its gas, never did figure out the mileage on that trip. Too scared to look at the numbers. Wasted a good motor in the one above though.
