Scanner tools on OBS psd.

Scanner tools on OBS psd.
I have a 1995 F350 dually extended cab with 7.3 PSD.. Does anyone know of a scanner tool that will work for this truck? Standard OBD tools do not work. I have a check eng light that I can seem to chase down.

Vgate Bluetooth scan tool from Amazon works for me I got my codes off it for a bad shunt. Comes with gauge display for your phone too that helps me since my dashboard lights are burned out. Project for another day.
Otherwise AutoEnginuity for way more money but I hear it's amazing.
EDIT addon - I have a CA 97 OBS so it should work on your 97

He has a '95.
If it's an early model '95 there's not going to be a lot of OBD help as they are not OBD II.
Late '95 started with OBD II.

I have heard about that, but also heard the PCM's in those trucks didn't communicate that way, even though the data-link wiring is in place.

I know I've seen posts from people with '94.5s and early '95s, their PCMs have been flashed sometime over the years, and they are able to use AeroForce, AutoEnginuity, etc. We have two '95s, one was built in March, and I've gotten AE, AF and Forscan to work on both.

Not sure what PCM I have but truck is early 95, built in January and V Gate Bluetooth works well.

I never tried the free one.
I thought it was cheap enough to buy.
I have used it on 4 different vehicles now and it can save multi profiles too. Very handy app IMO
