i am looking for a scan tool for a 94/5 ford f 350 psd w 5spd
i had a problem that happend the other day. it semms that one or two
injectors quit firing and the check engine light came on
i shut the engine off and started it again but it went away
but i wanted to know what kind of fault code it displayed
i had a vary bad experance with the dealership in the past
a vary small problem turned out to cost me about 3 grand.

Your truck runs an EEC IV (EEC 4) system. I got a scan tool from Mac Tools for $18 that plugs in to the scan port and reads the codes on an LED (you just count the flashes on the LED to get your codes).

Duh. Joe is right. I forgot about that. I had one for my 1994 F250.
