95 psd same as 97?

95 psd same as 97?

would they basically be the same?..my buddie has a manual for a 95 psd and i have a 97 psd...would it be better than nothing???

With only a few exceptions, the '95 and '97 were the same. If the '97 was built for the California market, it would have different injectors, for example.

Yes pretty much the same. Different programming and "split shot" injectors. They were rated at 225 instead of 215 HP. I have a 95 and my brother has a 97. His idles smoother and starts nicer than mine but they seam to pull about the same. We both have 180,000 miles and still rolling.The rest of the truck is pretty much identical.
