Adding 7 blade connector and trailer brake Controller
Bought a new to me 2016 F150 XLT 4x4 and would like to know if it comes prewired for trailer brakes at the rear, i.e if I install a plug and play 7 blade connector is the brake wire already in place?
Also, can I buy a Ford 2016 OEM brake control module and plug and play?

I think it depend on whether it came from the factory with the trailer tow option. If it did, then It would have it. I also presume that the wiring is there whether it was ordered with that option or not.

The 3 extra wires used for power and brake controller are not in the 4-pin connector at all. If the 7-pin wasn't there to begin with, I'm guessing the wires aren't there either.
