Question Brake controller woes

I hooked to the horse trailer that we just bought and the controller showed the connection, but the LED stayed yellow and the level and power adjustments made no difference. It worked on the last horse trailer and works on my gooseneck lowboy just fine. What gives?
TIA gang

Check the wires on the new trailer's plug, maybe someone wired it different, also check that the ground is good.

Smile Brake controller woes

I'll check the ground wire first and then the trailers wiring. The controller isn't the problem as I hooked to the lowboy and towed it to check it out...everything functions normally.
Maybe after it warms up tomorrow and the morning chores are done.
