I’m staying in Carova Beach
and like you said it’s miles of beach driving to get to the house we’re staying at.
the sand goes from well packed (if you can stay closer to the water) to very soft further back. And some stretches you don’t have a choice but to get in the softer stuff. But overall with correct tire pressure you’ll be okay.
I lowered to 30psi and it’s working well so far in sand/deep snow drive mode. Most recommend 20 but I’m not going there until I need to. It’s a lot of fun out here and it’s nice being able to get everything straight to the beach.

That’s great! Are you running on stock tires?
Corolla/Corova beaches are amazing. We can’t wait to get back down there. How were the crowds parking on the beach?

37x12.5 Kumho at52 on some 20x10 wheels.
lowered the pressure and they’ve performed impeccably.
saw another SD get stuck today on rubber band tires stretched on some wide wheels. Made me laugh a little.
The beach parking has been plentiful as well. Not hard to find a good spot and some space for a group of people.
Now I will say this. You can get by out here in just about anything that has 4x4 just fine if you stick to the right parts of the beach and keep your speed up. But it’s deceiving how quick you might find yourself in a pickle if you lose speed in the deeper stuff and have 65psi in the tires.
Finally stopped raining long enough to go for a little hike today up the Clark’s fork of the Yellowstone river. Not windshield pictures but nice anyway.
