Any battery try on F-150s to F-350s from 92 to 97 (F-250 and F-350 only for 97) will work. I know they often can be in rough shape, but if gives you a wide range of years to choose from at salvage yards. I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine the late 80s to 91 style trays would work as well.
I paid $15 at pick n pull a couple of months ago. Took it off a 95 F-150. Going to use it to hold a second battery just as soon as I figure out where I want to put it.
That LMC deal is the two hundred dollar deal i was talking about. That's steep to hold a battery In.
Oh I see. All the bits add up. I just needed the tray on my 1986. The "loops" for the hold downs were gone. If I can't find a good one at a junkyard I end up spending the money because I can't stand to have my battery improperly installed.

Well I've got steel and I have a welder, I'm just going to fab one up. Then it'll be basically free.
it'll hold more than the stock unit anyway
