Bronco Fuel pump
Have any of you guys had any luck with the after market fuel pumps. The Motorcraft pumps are going for $300 or $400 now.
If so what brand did you use?

the Walboro brand sold by Holley and others are good. most of the performance guys use them.

I've used Auteria for a couple of projects. Haven't had any issues, and most of their pumps are pretty inexpensive.
The Walboro pumps are great for performance stuff, but Bosch is also a solid choice if you're looking for stuff as close to OE as possible.

yes as close to OEM would be good. Wanting something reliable

I just ordered a Motorcraft pump and sending unit. Being the the pump was so expensive I just got a new 33 gallon tank from Rock Auto.

This is a pretty nice Dorman tank. Had it here in two days.

I did mine last summer, bought one from Advanced Auto for about 120$. I just replaced the tank to a plastic one. If this one dies I bet I could change it out within 1 hour. All bolts have been replaced that hold the tank up.

I have a Spectra pump and tank, there are mixed reviews of it online, but mine is working fine

I heard, that's why I went with the Motorcraft unit. The guy I work with was a dealership mechanic and be warned me about aftermarket parts.
