I did some actual vibration measurements (with calibrated equipment) of a Fluidamper and stock 215hp Cummins damper (the dampers are different between the different HP offering of the 12 valve, with the 215hp one being the biggest).
I found no difference between a stock 215hp damper in good condition and the Fluidamper. Now with that said, I do have Fluidampers on all three of my 12 valves because they're a maintenance free, pretty much life of the vehicle part (no rubber to dry rot and fall out), but if you're looking to calm vibrations, they don't actually work any better than a stock 215hp damper.
Changed the oil today and weighed the old boy for the first time at a CAT scale.
Total: 8060
Front: 4020
Rear: 4040
Full tank of fuel and me. Oil change at 339K so I now have 42K on the swap. Rockers are SCREAMING for my attention. Hopefully I can get those done before winter this year. We shall see RV'ing is WAY more fun.

Rust is lighter than carbon fiber,,,, it might be helping you out with those scale numbers (and fuel mileage too).

I would have thought I’d be around 9K. Wish I would have weighed it before the swap. If I remember correctly the Cummins is a few hundred pounds heavier than the 6.0 and I think the G56 probably is a bit lighter than the 5R. Must be all that copper wire I removed…..
So, rough numbers, pretty equivalent. I will also say that the standard ride height with the Procomp leaf springs is 27" all around on the X in standard configurations and mine was right on after install. Last time I measured, I was right around 27" still.

That's the whole comment I made about the 6bt not actually being as heavy as its reputation suggests.
What made me first question the weight was when I bought the 12 valve I swapped into my 2010 F250 and had it shipped to me. The receipt showed the entire weight (including the pallet ,the tire it was strapped to on the pallet and the various other pieces of wood they used to support the engine), being just under 1K lbs. I thought the junkyard was cheating me and had removed a bunch of parts from the engine before shipping it. But the engine arrived complete. So unless the freight company was being nice and not charging me the full weight, the 6bt is under 1K lbs.
Here are a couple of YouTube videos of people actually weighing 6bt Cummins engines.
Dove into the deep end…finally. And couldn’t be happier. 37x13.5r17. They are a bit wide and I do have to be careful when turning so I don’t get into the springs. A little trim off the bumper and pulled the liner back. I don’t care much for the zip ties, so I may try and come up with something a bit different.
That is a sweet looking truck. I like the slight rake.
Well done.
Thanks! It's really starting to grow on me! Just a few small rubs this morning turning into/out of driveways. Made the 180 degree turn from the lane to my parking spot at the office with no issues. The tires are a bit noisy, but I can just hear them over engine noise, so not a big deal. Also, I used the balance beads in the tires and at 70mph, she's pretty smooth. I do have a tiny bit of steering wheel shimmy, but again not bad. I have to use Waze for speed right now as the speedo is obviously off. all the way up to about 50mph, it's 5mph off, goes up from there. Turning fewer RPM's at speed.
With no running boards or nerf bars, must be a jump to get inside with 37's.
I'm thinking about taking the side cladding off mine, I like the way yours looks without it. Any ideas on what to do about the holes in the quarter panel behind the rear tires that are left exposed when the cladding is removed?

Yeah, the late model super duty running boards just moved WAY up the list.
There are rock guards that fit that area perfectly. This is one side:
