i just rebuilt a 302 .060 over 286 duration 650 edelbrock carb also have a really cheap electric fuel pump when i rev it up the truck will sputter when i let of the gas i think the fuel pump needs to be replaces with a stronger pump how about you.

the motor is a 90 model so it was fuel injected. when i bought the timing set for that model i did not know that the fuel pump was driven off of it, so if i wanted to put a mechanical fuel pump i would have to exchange my timing set to an earlier year engine.
