Exclamation ZF Problems Please Help!!!!!!

I have a ZF S5-42 transmission that the housing around the pivot point for the through out fork broke. I really don't have the money to replace it and the company I bought it from is refusing to replace the transmission even though it broke multiple times. The cast aluminum is weak and keeps braking. First thing broke was the rear extension housing around the circumference between the transferase and such. The it leaked and I rebuilt it 3 times and then now the pivot point casing broke.

Will JB weld hold if I use it in the cracked housing and throwout pivot point so that will make it like a solid piece of metal?

The attached picture is what popped out of my truck

Thanks for the help

The side forces on that arm will break the JB weld instantly. It needs welded.

I have a trans in my garage that is just like that. If you measure the shaft part of the pivot that goes into the trans it's shorter than the hole is deep. If you was to add to the shaft so it would bottom out in the hole and then JB weld it might work.

That's what my idea is, also thought about finding a round piece of metal that would slide over the cast part that would help hold it together when it's JB welded.

Holy cow. It looks to me like all of the breakage here is the result of a problem - not the cause.

Is your throw out bearing seized? From the look of those clutch fingers, looks like it may have been.
