could be both, or one or the other. I just turned 6300 on the non Rancho shocks above

Usually the gas side fails first giving no tell tail signs other than a perceived decrease in ride quality. The only way to tell is to pull one and see if it rebounds. Hydro leaks are more obvious but less frequent. All that said, upgrading will improve your ride quality whether they are blown in any way or not...

Sorry for the delay on the video. Crazy busy right now with many things and it has taken it's place on the back burner. Spoiler alert: I am a fan and the numbers prove why.

No problem I went ahead and ordered as one of mine is starting to leak as shown above in a picture.

Waiting on the front 2.5s to come back from getting valved.
Where did you source? Thanks man(copying your truck one piece at a time

Another option for the sleeves. Visit your local steel supply shop. Buy a piece of 3/4" DOM tube in .095" wall. Cut it down to 1.5" lengths and use it as the sleeves.

I installed my Fox 2.0 shocks today. What a difference....! My Rancho's weren't leaking and still had some nitrogen pressure left... but the ride had definitely changed over the 1k miles I've had my truck.

I've run ICON and Bilstein's on previous F250's and 2500HD's. None ride as nice as the Fox shocks. I was skeptical when reading the posts, but now I am glad I made the change.

Fox 2.0. No changing bushing/sleeves needed. Every online shock dealer told me they can make them work by changing bushing/sleeves. I talked the sales guy at AnythingAuto to find out from when Fox would be making the correct shock. He didn't like the answer the sales rep gave him. He talked to Fox engeener

Sorry, hit the wrong key. Anyway, long story short is the engineer said they have them, connected him to Fox sales. Sales told him they are ready, just haven't updated online info yet. AnythingAuto ordered them from Fox, Fox shiped them direct to my home in 4 days. I had them installed along with a Helwig rear sway bar 4 days ago. I can't express how noticeable the difference made in ride and handling. I feel securely planted to the road, no hopping over railroad tracks ( i had been thinking it was the 80 PSI in the rear tires doing that ) and no lean at all cornering. Well worth twice the expense for the change in ride and handling.

Auto Anything has been giving bad info for months on this. You can't use the 2005-2016 2.0s without changing the bushing and sleeve which is what Auto Anything has been selling to 2017 owners. FOX was aware when I spoke with them of Auto Anything selling the shocks without telling folks and has tried to get them to make people aware but they refuse so they can get the sale. Then people get the shocks, can't use them, and are forced to buy the bushings and sleeves after the fact or pay a restocking fee. Pretty sleazy really but their prices are good. I know a few people this has happened to. So, if there is now a 2017 shock and you got it drop shipped from FOX through Auto Anything, you're the first I've heard about. Please be sure to post the new 2017 part numbers you got for the rears for us so we can get the info out.

Those are the 2005-2016 part numbers which I have. The fronts are the same but the that rear number won't fit a 2017 without changing the bushing and sleeve. They must have sent you something different than that number. Perhaps check your boxes for us if you still have them.

Karl, I just checked with the installer. You are totally correct. He had to change the sleeves.
You were also correct in saying they give bad information. I was flat out lied too, with that BS story about the call to Fox. Hell, I got all excited thinking my truck was one up on everybody else's truck. I'm going to have to talk to someone at autoanything.
Can I delete my posts? Now I'm the one giving out bad info. Thanks for asking me the right questions.

Don't worry about it at all Chuey. You aren't the only one this happened to. I even tried to call AA when I heard about what was going on and they told me I had no idea what I was talking about and hung up on me!!!

I actually ended up using a different Fox sleeve, I should have the part number at home. Its the same thing but its a M14 sleeve instead of a 9/16 sleeve. Fits the M14 bolt better but I just needed to grind it down to 1.5"....either sleeve will work fine, Kartek just had these in stock and gave them to me. Just a heads up if you can't find the 3/4 x 9/16 in sleeves from Fox, the 3/4 x M14 works great too.

Just towed my Toy Hauler to a track day at Chuckwalla this weekend. Cranked the adjusters to 7 on the rear shocks...wow, what a difference on those concrete crap highway sections. Felt much more in control towing my sail of a toy hauler. Definitely stoked on these!

Hopefully get my 2.5's installed in the front this week. XXLTexan, I got them from Accutune in SoCal. They are back ordered almost 2 months at this point tho :/
