They offered 40 dollars each rear shock refunded. I settled for 50 each after more venting and demands were doing no good. Refund hasn't been posted on my card an I don't expect to see it. Time for me to start posting Bad reviews all over the web.

I'm thinking you're right about the refund Chuey. Lot's of bad reviews already out there and many include stories of supposed refunds, restocking fees, wrong items shipped, etc. Seems to be their M/O.

What is available for the F-450? Called Fox and they said they don't have a part number yet.

You can be like Ford and just use the same shocks as all other super duty models, lol.. At least that is what I'm going to do... I'm just still debating between the FOX 2.0's and Rancho 9000's...

Do they really? The fordparts.com site shows 34 different shock absorbers for an F350 classified for gas vs. diesel, wheelbase, and standard or "premium" (FX4). They don't show real part numbers which is frustrating.

That is what I heard, also if you look at Ford Parts for an F250, then for the F450, they list the same "price" but different description, if you put the shock for the F250 into your cart, and 2 shock for the F450, you get 3 items in your cart, but if you look closely, you see all 3 have the same part number and nothing telling the ordering system they are for different models...

Sometimes I'm surprised Ford isn't still using paper catalogs and fax machines.

Bad news is, the roost shields don't fit in 3 of the 4 locations...

I know Rob tried them on the front and they were a no go so I only bought a set for the rear. I was able to get the one on the passenger side but the driver side had interference from the shock mount and I had to remove it. The good news is, the only place that you really need one is the passenger rear because the shaft is forward of the axle and most prone to rock strikes there... and that's the one place it fits. I would have put them on all 4 corners too though if I could so I understand your wanting to do that.

So far I have the l/h rear shock on with roost shield, wife got up and wants breakfast lol, the shield clears the mount. maybe the difference is the 250 vs 350 mounts. Would the steering stabilizers be a good thing on my type of use? no off road, or very little, and light towing? I had them on my motorhome, but they were for helping control in case of a front tire blow out and to help with the road crown, I had an adjustable type that could be changed from the drivers seat to adjust for different road conditions.

Mine did not clear. Glad yours does. I'm guessing you're right and the 250's have a different mount being on the Sterling axle. FOX told me the steering stabilizers definitely weren't compatible from previous years so you should wait for a 2017 offering on that...
